التجمع الطلابي في الجامعة العبرية: الإرادة الطلابية تنتصر
تحت عنوان "الإرادة الطلابية تنتصر"، أصدر التجمع الطلابي الديمقراطي في الجامعة العبرية في القدس، اليوم الثلاثاء، بيانا بمناسبة إلغاء إدارة الجامعة العبرية قرارها العنصري والقمعي بتجميد عمل التجمع الطلابي الديمقراطي والذي امتد لستة أشهر. وجاء قرار الإلغاء هذا نتيجة للإصرار والضغط الطلابي منذ بداية السنة الدراسية الحالية.

وأشار البيان إلى أن إدارة الجامعة جمدت عمل التجمع الطلابي بذرائع سخيفة عنصريّة الجوهر، انتقامًا من الحراك الطلّابيّ المكثّف والمنظّم في العام الماضي، خلال الحرب على غزّة، وخلال إضراب أسرى الحريّة، الأمر الذي اعتبره تصعيدًا خطيرًا وغير مسبوقٍ في نهج التضييقات السياسيّة الذي تتعامل به إدارة الجامعة مع الحركات الطلّابيّة العربيّة.

وقال البيان: "لم نسمح أبدًا لقرار الجامعة الإلغائي والإقصائيّ أن يعزلنا عنكم وعن الساحة الطلّابيّة، فاستمرينا طوال هذه الفترة بنشاطنا الطلّابيّ داخل وخارج الجامعة، عن طريق الفعّاليّات والبرامج السياسيّة والثقافيّة، والمظاهرات الطلّابيّة، مؤكّدين على أنّ واجبنا الإنسانيّ والوطنيّ والأخلاقيّ تجاه شعبنا لا يحتاج لانتظار موافقة أحد".

كما أشار البيان إلى أن إلغاء قرار التجميد يأتي  كنتيجة لعمل وضغط طلّابيّ وإعلامي، ولتوجّه العديد من القيادات العربيّة والمؤسّسات الحقوقيّة لإدارة الجامعة. وفي المقابل، أكد التجمع الطلابي الديمقراطي في الجامعة العبرية على أنه يعتبر المعركة مع الجامعة مُستمرّة، لأنّ التضييقات السياسيّة ما زالت مُستمرّة، وما زال تحريض الحركات الصهيونيّة مُستمرًّا ومؤثّرًا على الجامعة في تعاملها مع الحركات الطلّابيّة العربيّة، وما محاولة تجميد حركة "وطن" الطلّابيّة في الأسابيع الأخيرة إلّا خير مثال على ذلك.

وثمن التجمع الطلابي الديمقراطي التفاف الطلاب العرب حوله بعد قرار التجميع، لافتا إلى أن ذلك يدل على المسؤولية وصدق الشعور بأنّ تجميد عمل التجمع هو استهداف للطلاب العرب وللصوت الطلّابيّ العربيّ في الوقت الذي راهنت به الجامعة على عزل التجمع عن الطلاب بهذه الخطوة.

واختتم التجمع البيان بالقول "ندعوكم مُجدّدًا للالتفاف حول جميع الحركات الطلّابيّة العربيّة في الجامعة، والمُشاركة في برامجها ونشاطاتها الطلّابيّة وإنجاحها، لننجح في لعب دور فعّال في نضال شعبنا وتقدّم مُجتمعنا، وردًا على سياسات الجامعة العنصريّة ونهج التضييقات السياسيّة".

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن التجمع الطلابي في القدس كان قد أصدر بيانه باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.

The will of the students has succeeded

Dear students,

The determination and pressure of  the (arab) students  in the Hebrew University since the beginning of the current academic year has finally paid off, as The Hebrew University has canceled their racial and oppressive decision, a moratorium on National Democratic  Student Assembly activities, which lasted for six months since the beginning of the academic year until recent days.
The university administration has frozen our activates within the Hebrew university   under silly and racial pretexts, as an act of revenge for the organized student movement in the past year, during the war on Gaza, and the prisoners' hunger strike for freedom. We considered the University's previous decision as a serious and unprecedented escalation in the university's policies against Arab student movements.

We did not allow for the university's decision to isolate us from the students, as we have continued our social and political struggle and activities in and out of the campus. We continued our political and educational activities, as we are determined that it's our humanitarian, national and moral obligation toward our people. Our duty requires no consent.

The cancelation of the moratorium was achieved after constant pressure from the students and the media, as well as Arab leaders and human rights organizations. This is a continuous battle with the university, as the political restrictions are still ongoing,  as well as the incitement and influence of the Zionist movements on the university's approaches toward Arab student movements. The recent attempt to freeze Wattan movement's activity is a clear example.

Fellow Students,

We highly appreciate your support, which has showed great understanding that the University has targeted all of the Arab students by its decision, trying to isolate Arab Movements from the students. Again, we ask you to continue your support to all of the Arab student movements; to participate in our activities, playing an active role in the struggle of our people as in the progress of our society, and to respond to the racist policies of the university.
